Eagle Harbor is Bainbridge Island's Maritime hub. The protected inner harbor graciously accommodates and provides refuge for waterfowl and sailing craft, otters and rowing shells alike.

The site enjoys the benefit of full southern exposure which facilitated a strong emphasis on sustainability and passive solar design strategies for this four bedroom home.

The prominent site was also subject to challenging setback requirements, limiting the development to only about 15% of the property. These restrictions brought together with an open floor plan led to an unorthodox footprint and form for the understated building, but one that captures a light filled marine view for every major room.
